Our Governors

Wyvern is committed to self-development and our governors play a key role in assisting the school to reflect and continually improve. It can be a rewarding role but one that requires a similar level of commitment and dedication from the people that volunteer their time. We are always keen to add to the diversity of our governing body, if you are interested in getting more involved with school life and becoming a school governor please contact the Chair of Governors or the Headteacher.

Governor Meetings

Governor meetings are held each term across the academic year. We have two sub committees that meet outside of the Full Governing Board; a Resources Committee that focusses on the school’s budget and premises and a Curriculum Committee that looks at the school’s provision and enrichment as well as the impact on children’s attainment and progress.
